Position Overview

• Specialty: ICU
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Number of Openings: 1
• Patient Population: Adults
• Unit Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 3 patients
• Number of Beds on Unit: 10
• Type of Patients on Unit: COPD, Chest Pain, Cardiac drips
• Equipment Used: Mindray
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): MediTech

Requirements

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered Nurse License (RN)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIH Certification

Experience

• Years of Experience in Specialty: 2 years (higher value between 1-2 years required)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Onboarding & Compliance

• Must have Iowa SING Background Check cleared (including Criminal and Child Abuse portions)
• All background checks (county and state) must be fully cleared prior to start (no instant or statewide searches accepted)
• Mandatory reporter certification required (Child and Adult)
• Drug test: 10 panel screening including opiates
• Titers must be from the last 12 months
• Start days allowed: Monday or Tuesday
