Job Opportunity: RN - Rehab (Travel)

Job Details

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 (candidate to specify preference)
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Call Requirements: None
• Number of Openings: 1
• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
• Unit: Acute Rehabilitation
• Number of Beds: 13
• Patient Ratio: 1 RN to 6 patients
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Meditech
• Equipment: Lift equipment available
• Float Requirements: May float to MedSurg as needed

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: Registered Nurse License (RN)
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in specialty, with at least 1 year of acute care experience required
• Background Checks: Must have Iowa SING background check cleared (criminal and child abuse portions)
• Mandatory Reporter Certification: Child and Adult
• Drug Testing: 10-panel screening including opiates
• Immunizations/Titers: MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB within last 12 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel experience preferred but not required
• Experience in MedSurg, LTAC, or similar settings is acceptable

• Neurological conditions
• Trauma
• Burns
• Gait training and strengthening
• Wound vac management

• Start days available on Monday or Tuesday

• Must be able to clear all background checks prior to start (no instant or statewide searches accepted)
