Seeking a Registered Nurse with 5+ years of experience in Emergency Department (ED) nursing.

250-bed Academic Community Hospital
Region's only designated Chest Pain Center and Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center
Accredited by American College of Cardiology and American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer
Services include comprehensive surgical, 24-hour ED, home health & hospice, advanced wound healing, cardiac rehab, cath labs, one-day surgery, medical and radiation oncology

Certifications (must have prior to start):
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
- NIH Certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Licenses: Registered Nurse License (valid in Virginia)
Must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as a traveler
Consent to random drug screening and completion of a Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form required

Orientation occurs bi-weekly on Tuesdays
Location highlights: Small town charm with city amenities, scenic river district with parks, trails, historical sites, boutiques, and art galleries
