Travel RN Opportunity – Labor & Delivery

Location: Fort Mohave, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a Level 1 trauma hospital with a well baby center. The unit has 9 beds and serves labor, post-partum, and neonatal patients.

Unit & Patient Care Details

• Unit: OB/Gyn
• Beds: 9
• Patient Population: Labor, Post-Partum, Neonates
• Patient Ratios: Vary based on patient acuity
• Equipment: IV Pumps, Epidural Pumps, Fetal Monitoring equipment, Fetal Doppler, Syringe Pump
• EHR Systems: Med Host and Centricity

Work Schedule & Requirements

• Shift: Days
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Weekend: Work every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday days, Friday/Saturday nights)
• Call: None required
• Float: None required

Required Certifications & Licenses

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• AWHONN (Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) Intermediate or Advanced
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Registered Nurse License

Experience Requirements

• Years of Experience in Specialty: Minimum 2 years in Labor & Delivery (highest stated requirement)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified / not required

Skills & Preferred Experience

• Experience with labor, postpartum care, well baby care, and stabilization of critical newborns for transfer
• Preferred: Experience with Centricity EHR system
• Familiarity with common diagnoses such as gestational hypertension and gestational diabetes
• Team player with a flexible schedule and experience in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) units
