Job Opportunity: Therapist - Behavioral Health

Location: Lafayette, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Therapist - Inpatient Behavioral Health
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 40 (guaranteed)
Weekend Hours: Yes, on a rotation
Call Requirements: None
Number of Openings: 2
Patient Population: Adult Psychiatric and Substance Abuse patients
Patient Caseload Ratio: 1:12 (fully staffed)
Float Requirements: Possibly; flexibility may be needed to cover other caseloads due to staffing

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Education: Master’s degree in social work or counseling
Licensure/Certifications:
- Relevant state license (Indiana)
- HWC (Healthcare Worker Certification)
- CPR certification
Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (Therapy/Behavioral Health)
Preferred Experience: Prior experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients
Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Job Responsibilities

Provide psychotherapy and counseling therapies including group, individual, and family therapy
Treat patients with psychiatric and substance abuse issues
Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation
