Facility & Unit Information

• Unit: Emergency Room
• Number of Beds: 7 beds, plus 2 psych rooms and 2 hall beds
• Patient Ratios: 5:1
• Patient Population: All ages (pediatric, adult, geriatric)
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: EDIS

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license to practice in Tennessee
• Certifications Required Prior to Start:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
  • HWC (Health Worker Certification)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• Additional Certification Requirements:

  • Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
  • NIH Certification
• Experience: Minimum 1+ years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Orientation & Compliance
