Position Overview

• Role: Clinical Liaison (RN)
• Department: Inpatient Rehabilitation
• Number of Openings: 2
• Shift: Monday through Friday, with 1 weekend per month (4 hours Saturday and 4 hours Sunday; flex off the following Thursday)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: May need to float to cover different facilities, involving some local travel to neighboring hospitals

• Facility Type: Acute Rehab Unit (separate building on hospital campus)

Requirements

• Years of Experience: 2 years (higher end of 1-3 years range)
• Required Education: Clinical background in Therapy, Nursing, Case Management, or Social Work
• Must Have Skills/Experience:

  • Knowledge of post-acute care
  • Care coordination
  • Case management
  • Business development/marketing
• Preferred Skills: Understanding of insurance authorizations and processes
• Personality Fit: Outgoing, assertive, comfortable with marketing, quick at building relationships, flexible to adapt to daily business needs
• Required Certifications: None specified
