Position Overview

Requirements

• Years of Experience: Minimum 1+ year in respiratory therapy specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
• Certifications Required:

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • PALS
• Licensure: Must hold Respiratory Therapist (RT) License/Certification valid in West Virginia
• Must have all required certifications prior to start; client may require additional certifications
• Ability to work independently as the only RT on shift
• Experience in Emergency Room (ER) and Critical Care settings required
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Work Environment & Additional Info

• Provides care to a large patient volume including emergency services
• Comfortable working in a critical access hospital setting
• Professional demeanor required
• Dress Code: Scrubs (any color); casual wear not acceptable

Specialty & Skills

• Experience with trauma and emergency services preferred
• Must be comfortable managing a variety of respiratory therapy needs independently

This position is ideal for a respiratory therapist with at least 1 year of experience, comfortable working autonomously in a critical care and emergency setting, and holding all required certifications and licensure for West Virginia.
