Job Opportunity: RN - Rehabilitation Nurse (Travel)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Facility Overview

50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
Focus on treatment and recovery for patients with stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
Comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs

Position Details

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) - Rehabilitation Nurse
Shift: 7 AM to 7 PM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48
Weekend Hours: Rotating 7 AM - 7 PM / 7 PM - 7 AM
Call Requirements: None
Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 8 patients
EHR System: Cerner

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience
Certifications: BLS, valid RN license
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Skills:
- Basic computer knowledge
- Effective verbal and written communication in English
- Cooperative and team-oriented personality

Patient Population & Common Diagnoses

Rehabilitation patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries
