Job Opportunity: RN - Rehab (Travel)

Location: Ottumwa, Iowa

Job Details

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 (candidate to specify preference)
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Number of Openings: 1
Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
Unit: Acute Rehabilitation
Number of Beds: 13
Patient Ratio: 1 RN to 6 patients
EHR System: Meditech
Float Requirements: MedSurg as needed
Equipment: Lift equipment

Required Qualifications

License: Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Iowa
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (Inpatient Rehab / Acute Rehab)
Additional Experience: At least 1 year of acute care experience required
Background Checks:
- Iowa SING background check clearance (criminal and child abuse portions mandatory)
- All county and state background checks fully cleared prior to start (no instant or statewide searches accepted)
Mandatory Reporter Certification: Child and Adult
Drug Test: 10-panel screening including opiates
Immunizations/Titers: MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB within last 12 months

Preferred Qualifications

Prior travel experience preferred but not required
Experience in MedSurg, LTAC, or similar settings is a plus

Neurological conditions
Trauma
Burns
Gait training and strengthening
Wound vac management

Additional Information

Start days allowed: Monday or Tuesday
Dress code: Scrubs (no unacceptable attire specified)
