Job Opportunity: RN - Labor & Delivery (Travel)
Location: Henderson, North Carolina

Position Details

- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
- Weekend Hours: 5-6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
- Call Requirements: No scheduled call; may flex down based on unit census and staff rotation
- Unit: Trauma
- Number of Beds: 16
- Patient Ratios: Per AWHONN guidelines
- EHR System: GE Centricity/Paragon
- Patient Population: Labor & Delivery, including couplet care and some NICU experience
Required Qualifications
- License: Registered Nurse (RN) license for North Carolina
- Certifications:
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Fetal Monitoring (must have completed intermediate level at minimum; advanced current acceptable)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in Labor and Delivery specialty (including couplet care, LDRP experience, and some NICU experience)
- Additional Certifications Preferred: ACLS, AWHONN
Additional Information
- Float requirements are not mandatory but may be required to float to task/secretary roles if needed
- Patient care follows AWHONN guidelines for ratios and treatment
- Orientation schedule available throughout the year
