Job Opportunity: RN - Med Surg (Rehabilitation)

Location: Pasco, Washington
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med/Surg Acute/Inpatient Rehabilitation unit. The role involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputation, and traumatic brain injury conditions.

Unit Information

Unit: Rehabilitation (2nd Floor)
Number of Beds: 10
Patient Ratios: 5:1
Equipment: Omnicell
EHR System: Meditech
Shift: Day (7a – 7p) and Night (7p – 7a)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend (EOW) including Sat/Sun days and Fri/Sat nights
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: Occasional float to Med/Surg as needed

Required Qualifications

License: Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington
Certifications: BLS required; CCRN preferred but not required
Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience required
Preferred Experience: Rehabilitation experience including documentation and GG scoring

Patient Population

Adult and geriatric patients
Orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputations, traumatic brain injuries

Work Environment & Culture

Team-oriented and collaborative work environment
Dress code: Scrubs of any color allowed

Additional Notes

Must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel
No call requirements
Weekend shifts every other weekend

This position is ideal for RNs with acute care experience looking to expand or apply their skills in a rehabilitation setting.
