Located in southeastern Washington, serving the Tri-Cities area (Kennewick, Pasco, Richland)
Teaching hospital with 111 beds
Unit: Birth Center
Number of Beds: 6 labor rooms, 11 mother/baby rooms, 3 triage beds
Patient Population: Adults
Patient Ratios: Per AWHONN guidelines
EHR Systems: Centricity and Paragon
Volume: Approximately 110 deliveries per month

Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Obstetrics (OB) / Labor & Delivery
Shift: Nights
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: 48 per month
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: Yes, to Mother/Baby unit

Required Certifications & Licenses

Registered Nurse (RN) License in Washington State
Fetal Monitoring
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Requirements / Qualifications

Valid RN license in Washington
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in OR circulation
Certification and skills in Fetal Monitoring
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Knowledge of and adherence to AWHONN standards
Washington Suicide Prevention training or certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
