Job Opportunity: RRT - Respiratory Therapy

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico

Job Description

• Work at a Joint Commission Accredited facility with 199 beds.
• The hospital is a Certified Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI.
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as Travel.
• The area offers year-round sunshine and numerous outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, biking, ATV riding, hunting, and horseback riding.

Contract Length

• 12 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in New Mexico
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
• Experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
• Successful completion of the Respiratory Therapist Competency Exam
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• All clinical staff must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that the background check is in process
• Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting for background check results but must be supervised during this period
