Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse with Med Surg specialty to provide patient care on a medical-surgical unit. This is a travel assignment with rotating weekend shifts and no call requirements.

Unit Information

• Unit Type: Medical-Surgical
• Floor: 3400
• Number of Beds: 18
• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Meditech
• Shift: 3 for 7 AM and 3 for 7 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Float Requirements: Yes

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
• Minimum 5 years of Med Surg nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience working with adult patients
• Experience working with geriatric patients

• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs

Preferred Skills

• Med Surg experience is a must
