Physical Therapist (Neuro / Stroke) - Travel Position

Location: Pascagoula, Mississippi

Position Overview

• Specialty: Neuro / Stroke Physical Therapy
• Shift: Day
• Weekly Hours: 30 guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: 1 out of every 3 Saturdays
• Call Requirements: None
• Patient Population: Geriatric, Adults, Strokes, Amputations, Hip fractures
• Patient Ratios: Therapist 7:1
• Equipment Available: Lite Gait, ceiling lifts, electric bariatric bars, UBE
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): EPIC

Unit Information

• Unit Type: Comprehensive Rehabilitation
• Number of Beds: 21 (currently capped at 12, expanding to 15 soon)
• Accreditation: CARF accredited
• Float Requirements: None

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Mississippi
• Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent qualification

Additional Information

• Dress Code: Any scrub color with rubber-soled shoes
• Unacceptable Attire: Low or high cut scrubs

Contract Length

• 6 weeks (interpreted from contract length value)

No prior travel experience required.
