Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Assignment
Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Nurse with ICU specialty for a travel assignment in Las Cruces, NM. The facility provides a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient care and is Joint Commission Accredited, including Chest Pain and Primary Stroke Center certifications.
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Must complete fingerprinting and background check as required by New Mexico state regulations
- Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while background results are pending but must be supervised during this period
Additional Information
- Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the assignment location to qualify as travel.
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
- The area offers year-round sunshine and numerous outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, biking, and horseback riding.
