Physical Therapist Travel Job - Arkansas
Location: White Hall, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Acute Rehabilitation Physical Therapy
- Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
- Shift: Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
- Weekend Hours: Half to full day on Saturday and Sunday (based on census and patient needs)
- Weekend Requirement: Must work one weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday)
- Patient Population: Adults (18+)
- Patient Ratio: 5:1
- Unit Beds: 40 beds (including 12 beds for Traumatic Brain Injury patients)
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Cerner
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Arkansas
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Common Diagnoses/Treatments
- Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA)
- Below Knee Amputation (BKA) / Above Knee Amputation (AKA)
- Hip fractures and replacements
- Knee replacements
- Brain Injury
- Spinal Cord Injury
- Debility
- Cardiac conditions
Additional Information
- Equipment used includes Vectra Bioness Gait Training System, Bionik Arm, Synaptic, Lite Gait, Saebo, and soon Ekso Skeleton
- Flexible thinker and team-oriented personality fit preferred
- Scrub color: Black
- Report time on first day: 8:00 AM
This position offers the opportunity to work in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility located about 30 minutes from Little Rock, Arkansas.
