Registered Nurse - Med Surg
Location: Clyde, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in a 39-bed facility with adult and geriatric patient populations.
- Unit specialty: Medical-Surgical.
- Patient ratio approximately 1:4.
- No call requirements.
- Float requirements include weekends.
- Electronic Health Record system: Paragon.
- Common diagnoses treated include fractures, COPD, hypertension, chest pain, congestive heart failure, and infections.
- Orientation is bi-weekly with upcoming start dates available.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience within the last year.
- BLS certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Additional Information
- No call requirements.
- Weekend float required.
- Scrub color: Navy blue for RNs.
- Facility is Joint Commission Accredited.
- Located near Great Smoky Mountains National Park, approximately 20 miles from Asheville, NC.
