Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Location: Clyde, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel

Department: Progressive Care
Unit: 4th Floor
Number of Beds: 22
Patient Ratios: 4:1
Patient Population: Adult cardiac patients including cardiac observation, post cardiac cath lab patients, and cardioversions
Equipment: Telemetry
Electronic Health Record (EHR): Paragon
Shift: PM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: Yes

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU), including experience within the last year
Stepdown experience
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience
Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
