Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Location: Clyde, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit and Facility Overview
- Department: Progressive Care
- Unit: 4th Floor
- Number of Beds: 22
- Patient Ratios: 4:1
- Patient Population: Adult cardiac patients including cardiac observation, post cardiac cath lab patients, and cardioversions
- Equipment: Telemetry
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Paragon
- Shift: PM
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
- Call Requirements: None
- Float Requirements: Yes
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU), including experience within the last year
- Stepdown experience
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

- Travel candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify
