Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: Gallatin, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Weekend Hours: Every other weekend / As needed
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: Must be willing to float to other Medical/Surgical units
Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric
Unit Department: Medical Surgical (Cost Center 607)
Equipment: Omnicell medication dispensing system
Electronic Health Record (EHR): Meditech

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical and Telemetry experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
Professional dress code required; casual wear is not acceptable
Facility is a Level III Trauma Center with 167 beds
No call responsibilities
Must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as a traveler
