Description

Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 or 48 guaranteed
Call Requirements: No call
Patient Population: Adult Behavioral Health Unit (ages 18-65)
Patient Types: Anxiety, Depression, Manic disorders, Borderline personality, Suicidal ideation
Unit Details:

14 beds (average daily census ~7)
Patient ratio: 1:6
May be required to float within a 25-mile radius
Electronic Health Record system: MediTech

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa
Minimum of 2 years of Behavioral Health nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
Prior travel nursing experience

Additional Information

Education: ADN or BSN required
No call responsibilities
Housing options available
Start days allowed: Monday or Tuesday
