Job Opportunity: Nuclear Med Tech
Location: Beckley, West Virginia
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview
Seeking a Nuclear Med Tech to join the Nuclear Medicine department. This role involves providing nuclear medicine services to a diverse patient population of all ages in a facility with 300 beds. The position requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
Work Schedule & Environment

- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: None scheduled
- Call Requirements: As needed
- Float Requirements: As needed
- Dress Code: Black scrubs; t-shirts, sweatshirts, and hoodies are not acceptable attire
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in West Virginia
- Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification or ARRT Nuclear Medicine (N) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience with cardiac stress testing
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Ability to perform cardiac stress testing
- Venipuncture skills
- Experience with general nuclear medicine studies
Equipment & Systems
- Equipment: GE NM360
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Meditech
