Location: Louisburg, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department (ER) at a Joint Commission Accredited facility with an 11-bed Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED) and a dedicated 33-bed psychiatric unit. This role offers a guaranteed 36 hours per week with rotating weekends and no call requirements.

- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Paragon
- Float Requirements: Rare float to nearby ED (not likely)
- Patient Population: Emergency care (adult and trauma)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) RN experience within the last year
- Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
- Skills and Experience:
- Critical care nursing skills including management of drips
- Emergency Department (ER) experience
