Description

Job Opportunity: Pharmacist

Location: Maysville, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Role: Pharmacist
Shift: Day shift, 40 hours per week (including weekend rotation every 3rd weekend)
Weekend Hours: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Call: Willingness to be on-call preferred
Worksite: Position requires staffing at two locations within the shared market (Meadowview Regional Medical Center and Fleming County Hospital)
Pharmacy Hours: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM; weekends 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Facility Information

100-bed acute care facility
Patient Population: Adult (Med Surg, OB, ICU, Intermediate Care, Cath Lab, Outpatient Oncology/Infusion Center, Surgery including general surgery, ortho, OB/GYN, ENT, Pain, cataracts, Endoscopy)
Equipment: Omnicell
Electronic Health Records (EHR): Meditech Magic, Medhost Experience, Medhost EDIS

Required Qualifications

Valid Pharmacist license in Kentucky
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
Minimum 2 years of pharmacist experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience with Meditech Magic and MEDITECH systems
IV compounding experience

Additional Information

Dress Code: Business casual or scrubs of any color
Patient care focus on high quality, cost-effective healthcare with compassion, integrity, and respect
