Physical Therapist Travel Job - Springfield, Missouri

Job Details

  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Weekend Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Patient Population: Geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (13 years and older)
  • Patient Ratios: 7 to 1
  • Number of Beds: 60

Facility & Unit Profile

  • Inpatient rehabilitation setting with a focus on patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions.
  • Specialized units include brain injury and stroke care units with dedicated therapy spaces and equipment.
  • Therapy equipment includes EKSO, InMotion UE Robotic, and body weight support systems.
  • Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems used: UDS and Epic.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Missouri
  • Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience
  • Physical Therapist experience within the last year
  • Experience in Acute Care setting
  • Experience in Rehabilitation setting
  • Inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) experience
  • Skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience

Common Diagnoses/Treatments

  • Neurological conditions
  • Orthopedic injuries
  • Debility
  • Cardiac rehabilitation

Additional Information

  • No float or call requirements.
  • Scrub color: black.
  • Time to report: 7:30 AM.
  • Emphasis on improving individual functional ability and quality of life.

This position is ideal for a Physical Therapist with inpatient rehab or skilled nursing experience seeking a travel assignment in a supportive, well-equipped rehabilitation environment.
