Location: Elko, Nevada
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Medicine, Surgery, Telemetry, and Pediatrics to work in an acute care setting. The position involves 12-hour shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekend hours are variable, and call requirements are as per contract. There is potential to float to other departments based on patient census and needs.

- Department: Acute Care Services
- Number of Beds: 23
- Patient Ratios: 1:5
- Patient Population: Pediatric, Adult, Geriatric
- Equipment: Omnicell Medication Dispenser, Baxter pumps, Masimo Monitors, GE Telemetry Monitoring system
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): MEDHOST
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nevada
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry preferred
- Familiarity with common diagnoses and treatments such as COPD, CHF, pre/post Cath Lab care, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, and acute respiratory failure (adult and pediatric)

- Float requirements: May be required to float to other departments depending on patient census and department needs
- Shift: 12-hour shifts
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Call requirements as per contract
- Fit testing is offered on-site
- Dress code: Scrubs of any color are acceptable; no mandatory scrub colors
