Physical Therapist (Outpatient)
Location: Cheraw, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: Outpatient Physical Therapy
- Shift: Day shift, Monday – Friday
- Monday – Thursday: Longer days
- Friday: Shorter day
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 32+
- Weekend Hours: No
- Call Requirements: No
- Float Requirements: No
Patient Population
- Adults and Geriatrics
- Pediatrics only if orthopedic or acute injuries
- General outpatient clinic with a mix of orthopedic and neurological cases
Common Diagnoses/Treatments
- Lower extremity orthopedic conditions
- Sports injuries
- Spine conditions
- Stroke (CVA)
- Balance impairments and history of falls
- Parkinson’s disease
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in South Carolina
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- Appropriate degree in Physical Therapy
- Familiar and comfortable with neurological conditions
Preferred Skills
- Dry Needling (a bonus but not required)
Work Environment
- Patient ratios mostly 1:1, some double-booked appointments
- Standard outpatient clinic equipment
- Electronic Health Record system: Epic

Dress Code
- Scrubs preferred in solid colors: teal, caribbean, wine, white, black, grey, or pink (matching top and bottom)
- Business casual accepted (no jeans, leggings as pants, shorts, capris, ripped clothing, sandals, or open-toed shoes)
No prior travel experience required.
