Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
- Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff.
- The facility offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services.
- The hospital is Joint Commission Accredited, a Certified Primary Stroke Center, and a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including ICU experience within the last year.
- Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Must complete fingerprinting and background check as required by New Mexico state regulations.
- May start on a 14-day waiver while background check results are pending but must be supervised during this period.
