Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
Orientation is held weekly on Mondays.
Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff.
The facility offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services.
The hospital is Joint Commission Accredited, a Certified Primary Stroke Center, and a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including ICU experience within the last year.
Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Must complete fingerprinting and background check as required by New Mexico state regulations.
May start on a 14-day waiver while background check results are pending but must be supervised during this period.
