Location: Wilson, North Carolina

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Nurse with Emergency Department (ED) specialty for a travel assignment. The position offers varied shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and every other weekend coverage. No call requirements.
Unit Information
- Department: Emergency Department
- Number of Beds: 26
- Patient Ratios: 1:4-5 (flexible depending on acuity)
- Equipment: GE Monitors, standard ED equipment
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Meditech (experience preferred)
- Patient Population: All ages (geriatric, adult, pediatric)
- Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Respiratory distress, overdose, congestive heart failure (CHF), dialysis, hypertension (HTN)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Work Environment & Culture
- Team-oriented, engaged, positive attitude desired
- Scrub color: Any
- No unacceptable attire specified
Additional Notes
- Float assignments may be required
- Orientation is bi-weekly
- No call requirements
- Weekend hours every other weekend
