Job Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Wilson, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
Shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
Schedule: Four 10-hour days per week
No weekend hours or call requirements
Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients
Equipment used: GE Innova X-ray, Merge Hemo
Electronic Health Record system: Meditech (experience preferred)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and RCIS required
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Float requirements include Interventional Radiology
Common diagnoses treated: Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), NSTEMI, Pulmonary Embolism (PE), Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
Positive and flexible personality fit preferred
Scrub color provided; no unacceptable attire specified

Notes

Orientation is bi-weekly
This is a travel assignment; candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status

This position is ideal for experienced RNs seeking a travel role in a specialized cardiac catheterization lab environment.
