Registered Nurse - IMC (Intermediate Care)

Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Job Details

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Call Requirements: Yes
Unit Type: Intermediate Care (IMC)
Number of Openings: 1
Number of Beds on Unit: 30
Patient Ratios: 1:3 or 1:4
Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric
Patient Types: STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, CABG pod 2, Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation with RVR, ALIF, EXLIF
Float Requirements: Medical Surgical and Telemetry (ED holds if up for admit)
Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: Medhost

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience, including at least 2 years of Intermediate Care experience with at least 1 year within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support)
Prior travel nursing experience required (must have completed at least one prior travel contract)
Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
Experience in Telemetry nursing

Additional Information

No block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts can be considered but are not guaranteed
Joint Commission Accredited facility
Level 3 Trauma Center
Community hospital and regional referral center
Located near outdoor recreation with mountain and lake scenery

This position is ideal for experienced RNs with acute care and travel experience seeking a night shift role in an Intermediate Care unit.
