Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Vernal, Utah
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift (12-hour shifts, 6 days on / 8 days off)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours (includes weekends)
Call Requirements: None


Unit Information

  • Department: Respiratory Therapy
  • Facility Type: Level IV Trauma Center, Stroke Receiving Facility, Chest Pain Accredited
  • Number of Beds: 39
  • Patient Population: All age groups (neonatal, pediatric, adult, geriatric)
  • Patient Ratios: Varies
  • Equipment Used: Ventilators, Bipaps, Vapotherm, Infant Nasal CPAP
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR): Medhost

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Utah
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
  • Experience working with neonate and infant patients
  • Critical care and neonatal respiratory therapy experience
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications

Additional Information

  • Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Asthma, COPD, premature infants
  • Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs; street clothes are not acceptable
  • Travel Requirement: Must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel
