Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Surgery (Travel)
Location: Pasco, Washington
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
Provide nursing care in the Orthopedic Surgery unit, supporting patients primarily undergoing procedures such as knee replacements. The unit includes 10 beds with a patient ratio of 1:5. The position is day shift with every other weekend required. No call responsibilities. Float requirements apply.

- Specialty: Orthopedics / Joint and Spine
- Trauma Level: 4
- Patient Population: Adult and Geriatrics
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Meditech
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 18
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Orthopedic Surgery nursing, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Details
- Shift: Day
- Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
- Call: None
- Float: Required
- Dress Code: Professional scrubs (any color), hoodies are not acceptable
- Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Knee replacement surgeries
Notes for Candidates
- Must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel
- Orientation dates are scheduled regularly throughout the year
