Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: Pasco, Washington
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a 10-bed Rehabilitation unit (2nd floor) with a patient ratio of 5:1
Patient population includes adult, geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputations, and traumatic brain injuries
Day shifts: 7 AM – 7 PM; Night shifts: 7 PM – 7 AM
Weekend hours every other weekend (EOW); weekend days are Saturday/Sunday, weekend nights are Friday/Saturday
No call requirements
Occasional float to med/surg as needed
Equipment used includes Omnicell; EHR system is Meditech
Focus on teamwork and collaboration

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience within the last year
Acute care nursing experience
BLS certification
Washington Suicide Prevention certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Dress code: Any scrub color acceptable; no unacceptable attire specified
Must have acute care nursing experience
Team-oriented work environment
