Registered Nurse - Med Surg
Location: Pasco, Washington
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in a 10-bed Rehabilitation unit (2nd floor) with a patient ratio of 5:1
- Patient population includes adult, geriatric, orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, stroke, amputations, and traumatic brain injuries
- Day shifts: 7 AM – 7 PM; Night shifts: 7 PM – 7 AM
- Weekend hours every other weekend (EOW); weekend days are Saturday/Sunday, weekend nights are Friday/Saturday
- No call requirements
- Occasional float to med/surg as needed
- Equipment used includes Omnicell; EHR system is Meditech
- Focus on teamwork and collaboration
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience within the last year
- Acute care nursing experience
- BLS certification
- Washington Suicide Prevention certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Dress code: Any scrub color acceptable; no unacceptable attire specified
- Must have acute care nursing experience
- Team-oriented work environment
