  • Patient Ratio: 1 patient at a time
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Float Requirements: May occasionally assist in Bryson City (very rare)
  • EHR System: Redoc

Job Description

  • Requires experience with pelvic and pediatric patients.
  • Must have orthopedic and neurological physical therapy skills.
  • Vestibular experience is preferred.
  • The facility is an 86-bed acute care hospital offering multiple specialties including orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women’s care, emergency medicine, sports medicine, physical therapy, imaging, and laboratory services.
  • The focus is on providing a world-class patient experience with high-quality clinical care.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in North Carolina
  • Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Experience working with Pediatric patients

Additional Information

  • Weekend hours are not required.
  • The position may occasionally require floating to a nearby location but this is rare.
  • Orientation sessions are scheduled throughout the year.

This opportunity is ideal for a Physical Therapist with at least one year of experience, especially those with orthopedic and neurological skills, looking for a travel assignment in a scenic small town near the Great Smoky Mountains.
