We currently have a client in Anchorage, AK looking for an EEG Technologist (Traveling EEG Technologist)


Focus Staff is seeking a traveling EEG Technologist to work independently by gathering a patient’s medical history, explain testing procedures, and prepare the patient for the procedure. During testing, the EEG technician monitors the patient’s status and notes any abnormalities. You must be innovative and driven as well as accurate, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable.

Contract Assignment – 13 Weeks (Temp)
Shift: 3x12 Days

Candidates need to possess phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail with a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety. Being Compassionate and sensitive is a prerequisite for the profession. The ideal Candidates goes a step further by being a critical thinker and fast to act with emergencies.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as EEG Technologist.
  • Must possess independent decision-making skills.
  • Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions
  • Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
  • Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience

Responsibilities:
  • Transport equipment & supplies to patients’ home’s or to drop off with other Centennial Technicians
  • Securing leads to patients in a polite manner necessary for an ambulatory EEG study
  • Documents appropriately to meet industry standards and company policies
  • Excellent computer skills and comfortable with technology
  • Professional demeanor, able to interact well with other team members
  • Representing the Company in a positive, professional manner with the highest ethical integrity.
