Job Description

The Temple is expanding its Float Pool with the addition of an Intermediate Care unit. As an ICU RN, you will provide care for a patient population that includes Med/Surg, PCU, and ICU. The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3, with the possibility of floating to other Stepdown and Med/Surg units as needed.

Responsibilities

Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under the direction of the licensed physician.
Utilize nursing theories and principles to individualize patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to established standards and policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Must possess a PA or MSL Compact Registered Nurse License.
Basic Life Support certification is required.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree and at least 1 year of experience in the area of clinical specialty.
Professional education or additional certifications may be prioritized based on specialty area.
