Day and Night rotating shifts: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in the Med/Surg Tele unit. This role involves rotating shifts, and while travelers' preferred shifts will be considered, flexibility is crucial to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients experiencing medical and surgical issues.
• Monitor vital signs and ECG rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• MUST have 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele experience before travel assignments.
• MUST have 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience; travel experience is acceptable.
• MUST possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
• Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation, with acceptable scores required.
