Emergency Department Nurse

Location

Spotsylvania County, VA

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

This position offers a night shift from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

Join a fast-paced Emergency Department where you will provide critical care to patients in a dynamic environment. This unit features 14 beds in the ED, along with an observation area and a variety of emergency care equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care in an emergency setting.
Monitor patient vitals and adjust care as necessary.
Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and effective patient care.
Perform standard procedures and utilize medical equipment including EKGs, rapid infusers, and ultrasound.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active nursing license.
ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
Familiarity with Meditech (preferred).
Experience in high-acuity environments and ED settings.
