Job Description

The Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT/CVIS) will be responsible for preparing and assisting during cardiac catheterization procedures, including PCI for STEMI cases and various interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare and prep for cardiac caths and other interventional procedures.
Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data.
Provide procedural assistance to the physician pre, intra, and post procedure.
Assess and manage access site and communicate effectively with the physician.
Adhere to On Call protocol for the Cath Lab and prepare patients for procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current certification as a Licensed Radiologic Technologist.
RCIS certification preferred.
BLS, ACLS & IABP experience required.
Direct and current experience in a Cardiac Cath lab is essential.
