Surgical Nurse - CVOR

Location

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12 hours (06:00 - 18:00). Weekday and weekend call required.

Job Description

The Surgical Nurse will be required to scrub and circulate for all types of CVOR cases. The candidate should have experience in a Level I Trauma Center and the ability to float as needed to the general OR.

Responsibilities

Scrub and circulate for all types of cardiovascular operating room cases.
Participate in weekend and weekday on-call duties based on departmental needs.
Supervise and lead nursing staff as a charge nurse when required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

3-5+ years of nursing experience.
Active PA or compact license.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
Experience with Cerner (Surginet) charting system required.
