AM Shift: 12 Hours from Monday 7am to Saturday 7pm, no Sundays.

Job Description

RNs will provide care to ICU boarders that will be in the PACU unit. The expected patient population will be trauma overflow; however, previous trauma training is not required. RNs may float to ED for ICU holds or to other ICU/Stepdown units based on need/census.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate care needed by assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician.
• Collaborate with patients, their families, professional peers, and other health care team members to individualize patient care using the nursing process.
• Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care in accordance with the standards of nursing practice and administrative policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• 1 year experience in the area of clinical specialty is preferred.
• PA Registered Nurse License is required.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
