This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift hours are 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM with a rotation every two weeks. This position requires every other weekend and call duties.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse with skills in LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum) to join our women and children's unit. The ideal candidate will provide essential care to patients during labor and postpartum, manage deliveries, and ensure high-quality newborn care.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to labor and delivery patients including assessments and interventions.
Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing during labor.
Assist in deliveries and provide immediate newborn care.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Occasionally manage medical-surgical overflow as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1-year clinical experience in Labor and Delivery, including LDRP experience.
Valid BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS, PALS (or PEARS) preferred.
Epic experience required within the past 2 years.
Experience in neonatal resuscitation and newborn medication administration is essential.
