Day shift, 5x8 hours from 07:30 to 16:00, with potential late shift from 08:30 to 17:00.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for performing various diagnostic and interventional procedures in both cardiac and peripheral settings. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology studies, and necessary equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Accurate monitoring and equipment setup for all procedures.
• Perform EKG lead placement and prep access sites.
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and manage patient safety.
• Circulate and scrub during procedures while maintaining a sterile field.
• Assist with various cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic catheterizations and interventional procedures.
• Operate and maintain equipment used during procedures.
• Care for central venous lines and assist with vascular closure systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Preferred certifications include CCI RCIS, ARRT certifications (CI, R, VI).
• Experience in electrophysiology is a plus.
