Job Description

The ICU Nurse will provide care for immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring high acuity monitoring and support. The role involves working with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and managing critical care interventions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage high acuity patients in an intensive care setting.
• Utilize advanced monitoring techniques including vents, a-lines, and spinal drains.
• Administer and titrate vasoactive and inotropic drips as required.
• Interpret and monitor ECG readings for cardiac assessment.
• Provide timely interventions for postoperative patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Epic experience is required.
• Trauma Level One experience is mandatory.
• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission.
• Candidates must be compliant with scrubs policy: Navy blue scrubs required.
