Schedule

12-hour shifts, rotating weekends and holidays. Day shifts are from 0700 to 1930, and night shifts are from 1900 to 0730.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Ortho/Neuro unit. The ideal candidate will have experience with orthopedic patients and PCA pumps, and be prepared to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment. This unit handles a variety of patients including those undergoing elective surgeries such as hips, knees, and shoulders, as well as patients with fractures from falls and neuro-surgeries.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care for orthopedic and neuro-surgical patients.
Administer and titrate medications as required.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
Play a crucial role in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current RN license in good standing.
BLS certification (AHA).
Experience with orthopedic patients and PCA pumps.
EPIC experience is required.
