Shifts available include 7a-7p, 7p-7a, 11a-11p, and 3p-3a with rotating self-scheduling. Weekend and holiday requirements apply.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a busy community setting. The ideal candidate will work effectively with fluctuating patient volumes and be prepared to manage a diverse patient population, including adult and pediatric patients from neonates to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management of patients in the emergency department.
• Perform nursing duties including starting IVs, managing drips, and executing EKGs.
• Provide respiratory treatments and coordinate care with advanced practice providers.
• Support a team-oriented environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a specialty area, with prior travel experience preferred.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS; TNCC must be active prior to start.
• Must possess a NY state license or proof of application.
• Experience with EPIC documentation system required within the past 2 years.
