Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Assignment Duration

This is an 8-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, including every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse with Mother/Baby experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the health and safety of both mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

Manage labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for expectant mothers.
Conduct fetal monitoring and recognize abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
Perform antepartum care and assist in the triage of obstetrical patients.
Circulate for C-sections as needed.
Provide triage and scheduling for obstetrical patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
Current BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association), and NRP certifications are required.
Preferred certifications include AWHONN Advanced and AWHONN Intermediate.
