Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Assignment Duration

This is an 8-week contract position, starting December 8th and ending January 31st.

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) with every other weekend coverage.

Job Description

We are seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse with Mother/Baby experience. This role involves managing the care of patients during labor and delivery, facilitating antepartum care and procedures, and providing triage for obstetrical patients. The ideal candidate must have strong skills in labor and delivery management and fetal monitoring, as well as the ability to recognize and treat abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.

Responsibilities

Manage labor and delivery processes and provide support to obstetrical patients throughout their care.
Perform fetal monitoring and interpret data effectively.
Triage obstetrical patients and coordinate care effectively.
Provide antepartum care and assistance with procedures as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS (via AHA), NRP.
Preferred: AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate.

Patient Ratios

Days, Nights, and Weekends: 1:1 patient ratio.
